In the workshop loft, Tom teaches Steve the technique of cutting wooden bung holes and how to properly install them in decking. Meanwhile, Jim pays a visit to a viewer to investigate the reasons behind the cracking and peeling paint in her bathroom. Back in the loft, Tom, Steve, and Roger come across two strange items and make guesses about their intended uses. Tom also makes a House Call, where he demonstrates to a young couple the process of creating an appealing outdoor lattice.
