Episode Overview

In the workshop loft, Richard showcases a technique for prolonging the lifespan of a hot water heater by swapping out the sacrificial anode rod. Meanwhile, Tom heads to Topsfield, Massachusetts, to assist homeowner Alison Hardy by setting up a "cricket," a rain diverter designed to redirect water away from her front steps. Following that, Richard, Tom, Roger, and Kevin engage in a game of "What Is It?" Finally, they travel to Brighton, Massachusetts, where Richard aids homeowner Kim McMahon in finding relief from the heat by installing thermostatic valves on her steam radiators.
