Stardate: Unknown. When Kira and Chief O'Brien learn that a legendary Bajoran resistance fighter, long believed to be dead, is actually alive, they set off for Cardassia IV to save him. At the same time, a faction known as "The Circle," part of the Bajoran provisional government, is quietly gaining power with a mission to eradicate all alien presence from Bajoran society.
