In Adelbaron, the inhabitants are enslaved in mines that yield valuable sustenance for the monstrous vines known as the Monster Mind. Saw Boss seizes Kumari's younger siblings, intending to use them as leverage to compel her to deliver Jayce to him. Meanwhile, Kumari is rescued from space by the Pride.
