After a refreshing break filled with travel, Kat is heading back to Louisville when she gets a surprise upgrade to first class, sitting beside Ken Jennings, the record-breaking champion from “Jeopardy!” Once she lands, Kat notices that Randi and Phil have made some major updates to the cafe, and Randi's dedication to her work is beginning to take a toll on her relationship with Carter. Meanwhile, Max has returned from Nashville, bringing back not only his cowboy boots but also a larger-than-life attitude as he resumes his pursuit of a music career.
