Fangface (1978)

Episode Overview

The gang heads to the Grand Canyon for a rock-hunting adventure but soon finds themselves caught in an earthquake. Once the tremors settle, they spot a Tyrannosaurus Rex and decide to follow it. As the dinosaur crosses a bridge, it destroys it behind him, sending the gang tumbling into the canyon. Fortunately, Fangface cleverly uses their tent as a parachute, allowing them to float down safely. At the canyon institute, they attempt to report the sighting, but most scientists are doubtful. One believes the earthquake may have freed the dinosaur from an underground cave, so they set out to explore Dinosaur Cavern. Fangface and Puggsy encounter the T-Rex, and Fangface bravely tries to confront it alone. During a daring escape attempt involving pole-vaulting, they nearly get caught by a mysterious lasso-wielding figure. With the T-Rex now heading towards the city, the gang realizes they must devise a plan to stop it.
