Following an injury, Dodgers undergoes a procedure to receive cyborganic enhancements that grant him extraordinary abilities. In a parallel storyline, the Martian Queen and her ally X-2 are abducting fellow cyborgs from Earth to exploit their technological advancements, enlisting the questionable assistance of Dr. Maniac in their scheme.
