Duck is assigned to assist Edward for a time and expresses his belief that the Fat Controller and the other engines dislike him. Edward reassures him that this isn’t true and invites Duck to join him in his work. Together, they tackle a hefty goods train as they ascend Gordon's Hill. However, disaster strikes when the trucks detach and rush down the track. Duck skillfully regains control, but a barber shop looms dangerously ahead...
