Skarloey and Rheneas are anxious about the possibility of being stuck in the quarry indefinitely if the damaged track remains unrepaired. Fortunately, Rusty steps in to assist, with some convincing needed for Elizabeth to join the effort. They face a tight two-week deadline set by the Fat Controller to fix the line. Can they manage to complete the repairs in time and avoid a long-term fate in the quarry?
