A new locomotive named Arthur from the LMS makes his debut on the island. With an impeccable reputation for never causing trouble or creating a mess, he is assigned to work alongside Thomas and Percy. Arthur's initial task involves transporting a load of fruit in closed vans to the market. However, the trucks begin to sing obnoxiously, prompting Thomas to pull a prank. He informs Arthur that the Fat Controller disapproves of their singing and suggests he put a stop to it. This misguided advice ultimately results in a disastrous mishap...
