On his day off, Thomas is supposed to rest while the new diesel engine, Dennis, takes over the task of delivering roof tiles to the school. However, Dennis is extremely lazy and attempts to deceive Thomas by pretending to break down to avoid the job. Unfortunately for Dennis, his ruse backfires, leading to unexpected consequences.
