Fred's cousin shows up with his new wife and her less-than-appealing daughter, Betty Jean. Upon learning that Betty Jean stands to inherit $10,000 if she gets married, Fred devises a plan to set her up with Lamont. Unfortunately, Fred's scheme unravels when Lamont realizes what he’s up to and sees through the ruse.
