The Pillars of the Earth (2010)

Episode Overview

Reed, eager to prove himself, is drawn to the daring antics of Officer Ed Wells, a reckless cop who takes unnecessary risks to apprehend criminals. At the precinct, Malloy becomes frustrated with Wells’ dangerous methods, which jeopardize not only his own safety but that of others as well. Wells brushes off the concern until his carelessness nearly costs him dearly when a crazed sniper shoots him in the shoulder. Reed narrowly avoids being shot as well due to Wells' reckless behavior. Now, Malloy and Reed must devise a plan to rescue Wells and resolve the standoff without further violence.
