While back on duty, Malloy and Reed hunt for a father who has abducted his own child, assist an elderly man attempting to use trading stamps to pay for his meal, engage in a shootout with a fugitive discovered sleeping on a city bus, and intercept a hijacked delivery van loaded with alcohol.
