Episode Overview

Reed, sidelined with a wrist injury, is stuck on desk duty while Malloy adjusts to a new rookie partner. However, Reed's day quickly spirals into chaos as he manages a bomb threat that leads to the station's evacuation. Meanwhile, Officer Brinkman accidentally fires his shotgun twice, and a young man arrives to report police misconduct. An elderly man shows up to turn in a shotgun, while Malloy brings in a group of children left behind by their mother. The day culminates with Malloy and his partner chasing a car into the police parking lot, where they successfully apprehend the suspects.
