Title: L.A. International Plot: Malloy, Reed, and Officer Woods are stationed at LAX, where they utilize new closed-circuit cameras to monitor a theft in progress and catch the culprits before their escape. A dispute over luggage leads to the discovery of narcotics, while another altercation between an Army soldier and a civilian reveals that the latter swindled him out of Japanese Yen. A ticket clerk piques Malloy's interest when she mentions a suspicious man who previously purchased tickets under an alias, which helps dismantle a credit card fraud ring. They assist a runaway until his mother arrives and respond to a silent alarm, leading to the capture of a robber holding a hostage. As thanks for their efforts, the credit card company invites Malloy and the clerk to lunch, while Reed is also included—Malloy secretly pays Reed a week's worth of lunches to avoid joining them.
