Episode Overview

Lucy Carmichael is celebrating her first Christmas in California, and she’s determined to keep her spending in check, much to the skepticism of Mr. Mooney during their usual banter. In her attempt to save money, she accidentally scrambles all of his gift tags for his wrapped presents. Later, while shopping for a Christmas tree, things go awry when Lucy’s new, oversized tree topples over and knocks down a significant portion of the store's inventory. Finally, she enlists Mr. Mooney to join the children's choir as a bass singer for a charity event at the bank.
