An ancient tomb has been uncovered along the border road constructed by Djaro, prompting urgent media interest before the news can break. In a bid to secure coverage, Boyana resorts to bribing the official overseeing the archaeological site, but things take a turn when she is unexpectedly kidnapped by unknown assailants, along with the construction permit. This incident puts the entire project in jeopardy. After Martin informs Popov about the abduction, the police get involved in the search. Meanwhile, Sunny asks Martin for help to flee the secret hideout where she’s staying with Ivo's mother. As they devise an escape plan, Ivo unexpectedly returns home just as Sunny is about to leave.
