Rush (2008)

Episode Overview

The TRG is dispatched to a sports field where a heavily-armed gunman opens fire, hitting Stella, but her kevlar vest saves her life. The gunman demands to speak with a senior officer, prompting Lawson to step forward. He soon discovers that the man is a former weapons expert seeking a suicide-by-cop scenario. As Lawson attempts to de-escalate the situation without resorting to violence, he is ultimately left with no choice but to shoot the assailant when the man draws a handgun on him, leading to a tragic conclusion.
