Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds (1981)

Episode Overview

Dogtanian, Pip, and The Three Musketeers have just returned to France from Spain, where Juliette is eagerly waiting for Dogtanian. Meanwhile, Cardinal Richelieu, Count Rochefort, and Captain Widimer are plotting against him. Widimer proposes using poison, which Rochefort vehemently opposes, citing the Cavalier's code of honor. However, Richelieu favors Widimer's scheme and instructs him to carry it out secretly, promising a title of Count if he succeeds. As Dogtanian distributes gifts, Rochefort arrives at the door, but Planchet only finds a note challenging Dogtanian to a duel and warning him of Widimer's treachery.
