At South Park Elementary, the fourth graders are introduced to the concept of evolution. Despite their teacher's initial resistance to the theory, a shift in perspective could alter the course of their understanding. Meanwhile, Cartman has his own agenda: he's determined to transport himself to the future, aiming for the precise day when the latest gaming console, the Nintendo Wii, hits the market.
