The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp (1955)

Episode Overview

Wyatt Earp runs into his friend Ned Buntline, who has just released a book portraying Wyatt as the "King of the Frontier." Unaware of the awkwardness this might cause, Ned doesn't realize the pressure it puts on Wyatt. To uphold his friend's reputation, Wyatt reluctantly enters a rodeo, where the main event is a dramatic shootout. He faces off against an adversary armed with a Winchester, while he wields his Buntline Special from a distance of two hundred yards, putting his skills and dignity on the line to prove Ned's claims true.
