The Rat Patrol (1966)

Episode Overview

The Patrol successfully sets a trap for a German unit transporting American prisoners of war. Among the captives, three men are at each other's throats: Sgt. Gribs, whose cowardice led to their capture, is up against Tex and Eddie, who are fueled by a desire for revenge. Gribs pleads with Troy for protection, claiming he possesses crucial intel for US Command. As they head back to headquarters, one of their jeeps breaks down, forcing them to trek slowly through the desert until they manage to seize a German vehicle. Gribs doles out snippets of his so-called vital information to ensure his safety. The situation culminates in a moment of bravery—or something resembling it.
