Seeking a motivating environment to kick off her debut novel, a writer in Rhinebeck, New York, enlists Pete to construct a secluded hideaway that will spark her creativity. However, she quickly hits a creative roadblock when their opinions clash over the selected tree. After some persuasion, Pete manages to change her mind and turns the tree into a stunning gold-leafed “Spirit House.” This enchanting retreat is adorned with Buddhist artifacts and quirky treasures, complete with a cozy loft for her to relax and recharge between writing sessions.
