Episode Overview

The eight bakers left in the competition are in for an enchanting surprise when host Jesse Palmer takes on the role of a magician, transforming plain candles into scrumptious edible delights right in front of them. For their first task, the bakers must channel the essence of a scented candle to craft a dessert featuring a functional edible candle that lights up and enhances the dish’s experience. As the stakes rise, they face off in a challenge that merges two beloved spring classics: lemon meringue pie and carrot cake. Judges Duff Goldman, Kardea Brown, and Nancy Fuller will determine who mastered each flavor the best.
