The last to appear is a captivating figure, Doris, the “curator,” who instantly captures Devon's attention. However, she reveals that these figures are illusions generated by Magnus, the Ark's advanced computer. As Devon seeks to use Magnus to resurrect the original captain for insights, he learns that Doris is also a product of Magnus, who has his own agenda for gaining autonomy.
