Title: The Shatterer Plot: The Odyssey 5 crew embarks on a mission to find Professor Naran Chandra, a researcher in artificial life who, in the original timeline, will take his own life in front of Kurt during a lecture in just eight days. As they sift through Chandra's computer files, they stumble upon evidence that he has uncovered a self-evolved computer lifeform on the Internet, which has attained "Sentience" due to experiments conducted in his lab. Meanwhile, Neil's girlfriend Holly notices his recent maturity and proposes taking their relationship further. In parallel, Sarah and Angela investigate patients treated with "gene therapy" by Dr. Barantz, leading them to discover living tissue seemingly created in a chemical vat. When they finally confront the terrified Dr. Chandra, they unveil that one of his students has transformed into a monstrous being made from this resilient tissue.
