Episode Overview

Neil discovers that his classmates have started using a new drug called "Rapture," which seems to enhance their intelligence and might even grant them abilities like telepathy and telekinesis. He learns that Deckard sourced the drug from a website, but when Neil tries to acquire a sample for testing, he ends up taking it himself. Meanwhile, Taggart's new supervisor, Cynthia Hodge, insinuates that he might be involved in the sabotage of the previous space mission, though she seems pleased that this failure could accelerate the shift to fully automated space flights. Retired astronaut Leyton Scott informs Taggart about a group known as "the Cadre," which has been working for two decades to eliminate manned space travel. Leyton then reveals his own struggle with "Moon Sickness," a peculiar illness affecting Apollo astronauts, possibly linked to what they brought back from the Moon.
