Episode Overview
Julie confronts her toughest challenge yet: giving birth to her fourth child without her husband Dave by her side. After Dave heads off for his vasectomy, Julie starts experiencing contractions. Although she suspects they might just be Braxton Hicks, her friends Melissa and Ben insist on taking her to the hospital. Once there, Dr. Sandra Marsh informs Julie that her labor signs have subsided, but she can’t leave until the baby arrives. Reluctantly, Julie agrees, assuring Ben that Dave will call once his procedure is finished. However, real contractions kick in, prompting Ben to panic as he leaves urgent messages for Dave, unsure of the clinic's location. Meanwhile, Jake invites Rachel to lunch with his family at Grace’s urging, revealing he's told his mother that Rachel is a long-term part of his life. Rachel is taken aback by this commitment.
