Episode Overview

Piper falls seriously ill from a dangerous tropical virus, landing her in intensive care. In a desperate attempt to save her, Prue and Phoebe perform an 'awakening' spell. Unfortunately, because the spell is intended for selfish reasons, the sisters lose the ability to sleep, and Piper's illness inadvertently triggers an epidemic. Meanwhile, Prue decides to leave her position at Buckland's, and Phoebe takes the plunge to start her studies at university.
