Former Stark Industries employee Dr. Jonathan Ohn develops a portable interdimensional device, inadvertently transforming himself into a human portal. Adopting the name the Spot, he resorts to theft to support his experiments. However, his erratic creation opens a dangerous vortex that poses a serious threat to New York City.
