Episode Overview

In 455 A.D. England, Nigel and Sydney are summoned to solve a murder involving a man who was brutally killed with a relic known as the Cross of Arthur. Winston Hubbard, who has been on a quest to find the Cross, comes under suspicion when the victim's wife, Sarah Glover, accuses him of the crime. As they follow a trail of puzzling clues, Nigel and Sydney uncover that Sarah and Hubbard's nurse orchestrated the murder, driven by a secret affair with Hubbard's handyman. In a shocking turn, Sarah murders the handyman and teams up with the nurse, but Nigel and Sydney intervene just in time to recover the Cross and thwart their plot.
