Craig has a heated exit from the Rygaard site, leaving Gabe to lead a diminished crew when Dave doesn’t arrive. Following Jimmy's timber theft, James sets out alone on the Suwannee to scout for logs with another crew from Collins. Meanwhile, after Jesse lands a fresh job for Browning, Jay rallies every available crew member to gather timber. As Swamp Man attempts once more to retrieve a massive log from Lake Pontchartrain, Shelby's old hernia acts up, forcing him to the hospital. Josh and Kevin take on their first heli-logging operations, leading Bart to assess their work, ultimately choosing Josh to pilot for Conner.
