Trucker Todd Dewey, known from seasons 7 and 8 of Ice Road Truckers, faces a daunting access road while transporting loads for Rygaard. Meanwhile, Shelby and his team have enhanced the Swamp Man jet boat to boost its pulling capacity as they aim to retrieve a log stranded on the bayou's edge. At the steep Papac site, slick and muddy conditions pose a danger as logs threaten to slide toward the rigging crew, who are working hard to maintain production. Additionally, a rival who previously attempted to steal logs from Chapman is back with a new scheme, while Ethan’s time as the Zitterkopf skidder operator ends abruptly when he snaps a cable attempting to free a stuck log.
