Shelby, Belinda, and Bob are struggling to liberate a log trapped in the muddy waters of Lake Pontchartrain for Swamp Man. Meanwhile, Chapman resorts to a powerful barge and bold strategies in a renewed effort to seize the elusive Gump Log. Frustration mounts for Jason as a malfunction in the Rygaard processor forces him to halt operations and send the crew home. At the Papac site, unstable terrain causes the skyline lift tree to collapse. Understaffed, the Triack crew faces treacherous slopes that send logs tumbling toward Alec's machinery. With David hospitalized for a week, his sons must continue logging on the Zitterkopf site.
