L.A. Law (1986)
S02E06 Auld L'Anxiety
Episode Overview
McKenzie confronts his anxieties about aging and vanity while successfully advocating for a client in an age discrimination lawsuit. Meanwhile, Van Owen is heartbroken after a witness she pressured to testify against a gang member is murdered, leading the woman's young son to seek revenge by killing the perpetrator. Rollins ignores McKenzie and Brackman's instructions to expedite a divorce property settlement, much to Becker's delight when her strategy results in a significant gain for their client. Kelsey gently turns down Markowitz's attempts to mend fences over the prenup, until he finally persuades her to acknowledge their shared tendencies toward control and manipulation. Brackman's moralizing about marriage in the courtroom starkly contrasts with his own conduct in private with Vasek.
