Episode Overview

During the Cambrian period, life on land was on the brink of a significant transformation. The introduction of plants would soon alter the environment dramatically. These new arrivals would lead to cooler global temperatures, deplete much of the ocean's oxygen, and ultimately contribute to a major extinction event.
