S01E02 What To Do With Vallery When You're Dead
Episode Overview
Victor Balick, a powerful media figure, has set his sights on Arnie Feign, an internet author planning to publish a revealing exposé on Balick, whose real name is Ileat Petrovski and who conceals a murderous past. Arnie recruits the V.I.P. team for protection, but Balick simultaneously attempts to hire them for his own safety. When the V.I.P. team arrives at Arnie's home, he’s skeptical, fearing they might be working with Balick. Vallery reassures him, but chaos erupts when Balick’s men attack. They manage to fight back effectively. Later, at V.I.P. headquarters, Arnie offers a press kit in lieu of payment. Just as he thinks he’s out of danger, Balick emerges from his car trunk, holding him at gunpoint and ordering Vallery to drive. Fortunately for her, she wasn’t wearing her seatbelt, allowing her to escape.
