Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000)

Episode Overview

Warp Darkmatter travels to the remote planet of Binipinardia to seize a rare de-evolving gas, which has been protected by the local Binipinardians for ages—though they conveniently took a coffee break at the worst possible moment. Upon Team Lightyear's arrival, they discover the locals are absent, leaving only some quirky, semi-sentient lemur-like creatures behind. While the rest of Team Lightyear searches for the missing Binipinardians, XR remains with the ship, eager to promote his comic book, breakfast cereal, and adventure series, using the lemurs for market research. Meanwhile, the rest of the team stumbles upon Warp's pumping station and accidentally gets exposed to the gas, resulting in Mira turning into an ameboid, Buzz regressing to a Neanderthal state, and Booster taking on an ankylosaurus-like appearance. When XR learns of his friends' transformations and the fate of the Binipinardians, chaos ensues
