Episode Overview
Ship 42 explores a mysterious region where numerous vessels have disappeared. Scanning the planet reveals a wealth of technology, but the landscape appears desolate upon their arrival. Suddenly, they are ambushed by manta-like creatures that disable Team Lightyear's equipment, leaving them vulnerable. While navigating the barren land, they meet Flint, a man who leads a community of survivors from crashed ships. However, they soon discover that Flint is actually a rogue gamma series construction robot. Resentful from his past as a forced labor stock-boy, he created the robotic attackers to trap organics and assert control over them. Team Lightyear ultimately dismantles Flint's hidden factory and defeats him, liberating the stranded castaways.
