Episode Overview
During a training session, Team Lightyear faces off against Team Rocket, led by Rocket Crocket, who provokes Mira into trying to avoid being tagged. King Nova introduces Mira to his latest creation, the Starthought—a small craft that responds to thoughts. Initially skeptical, Mira's competitive spirit kicks in when she imagines Crocket's frustration at seeing her in the sleek ship. While testing it, she unexpectedly encounters tourists who turn out to be Warp Darkmatter, accompanied by Zurg’s Brain Pod and a Grub, scouting for Star Command intel. Zurg orchestrates a fake attack on a mining outpost to capture Mira and the Starthought. After losing the ship to Zurg, Mira finds herself downcast at Cosmo's Diner, but with encouragement from Team Lightyear and King Nova, she resolves to reclaim her ship from Zurg. They plan a stealthy infiltration into Zurg's lair.
