Episode Overview

Karl Jorla, a renowned horror actor from Europe, is signed by a Hollywood studio for his debut American film. After viewing a demo featuring Jorla as the leader of a satanic cult, the producers are convinced he's the perfect fit. Once he arrives in the U.S., Jorla grows increasingly paranoid, fearing that actual satanists are targeting him for showcasing his demo. Despite the studio providing round-the-clock security, an attempt on his life nearly succeeds. He persuades the studio to let him hide in a secret location known only to him. However, when he fails to show up for filming, concern mounts. The director starts shooting scenes without him until Jorla reappears on set, mumbling an address in Topanga Canyon before vanishing again. The police are alerted, and when they investigate the location, they discover Jorla brutally murdered.
