Episode Overview

Skip Baxter, a medical student grappling with alcoholism, shares an apartment with his mischievous roommate, Doc Carroll, who wants to help him quit drinking. Doc devises a prank to scare Skip straight by taking a cadaver from the morgue and dressing it up as a waitress named Ruth, placing it in Skip's bed while he sleeps off a hangover. Upon waking and seeing the body, Skip panics, fearing he has committed murder in a drunken haze. He hastily wraps the cadaver in a rug and disposes of it. Later, he learns that Ruth is alive and that Doc is in hot water for stealing a body. To help Doc out, Skip agrees to replace the cadaver, only for the professor to reveal in class that the new body is actually Doc Carroll’s.
