In a quest for vengeance against the high school bullies who humiliated him, Matthew's plan takes a dangerous twist when he threatens them with a gun, resulting in one of the bullies being hospitalized and Matthew facing charges for attempted murder. At the same time, Mayor Harris' choice to cut deputy salaries leads to a wave of "blue flu," affecting Kenny and Maxine as they navigate the fallout from the decision.
