Episode Overview

On October 2, 1996, Aeroperú Flight 603 encounters a catastrophic situation shortly after takeoff as the crew faces misleading speed and altitude information coupled with conflicting alerts from the airplane's air data system. As they prepare for an emergency landing, the crew mistakenly descends too low due to the inaccurate readings. Tragically, the Boeing 757 crashes into the ocean, resulting in the loss of all passengers and crew members aboard.
