Episode Overview

On September 11, 1991, Continental Express Flight 2574 is approaching its destination in Houston after departing from Laredo, Texas. As the flight crew readies for landing, the plane suddenly plunges into a nosedive, losing control as the left wing disintegrates mid-air. Tragically, all 14 individuals aboard perish in the incident. The disaster was attributed to inadequate maintenance, which led to a crucial section of the horizontal stabilizer detaching during the flight, leaving the pilots unable to regain control of the aircraft.
