On December 20, 2008, while departing from Denver International Airport, Continental Airlines Flight 1404 loses control, slipping off the runway and gliding across a taxiway before plunging into a ravine. Fortunately, all 115 individuals aboard, including passengers and crew, manage to escape without serious injuries.
