On March 10, 1989, Air Ontario Flight 1363 tragically goes down shortly after departure, resulting in the loss of 24 lives. Fast forward to March 22, 1992, when USAir Flight 405 meets a similar fate, crashing just after takeoff under comparable conditions. Investigations reveal that ice accumulation on the wings severely impaired lift, leading to both disasters.
