Japan developed one of the most formidable fighters of World War II, the Mitsubishi Zero. However, the decline of their war production facilities led to a tragic transformation of the Zero. Instead of being a symbol of aerial superiority, the once-great aircraft became repurposed as a Kamikaze plane, highlighting the desperate measures taken as the war progressed and Japan faced increasing challenges.
