Episode Overview

As the college dance approaches, Emma finds herself dateless and resorts to attending with her friends, Jennie and Jason. Meanwhile, Jennie unexpectedly ends her relationship with Jason, causing tension. Upstairs, Chip clashes with Amy after she swoons over Matt Dillon in a movie they watched. Kate's date with the chiropractor turns out to be painfully self-absorbed, and Allie is left without a date entirely. At the dance, Emma unexpectedly encounters a cocky business major, who seems to be universally disliked by everyone around him.
